Slightly loose on surrounding ring?

Noticed on the ring that surrounds the keyboard part of the slider, there is some ever so slight looseness directly below the keyboard/above the Mini USB slot, and on the other side just above the volume rocker.

Just my OCD kicking in......is this normal?
