Slimport LG V10 Problems

Hello, I've got an LG 10, and just picked up a SlimPort MHL adapter, so that I can mirror my display up to my Pironeer NEX8100 receiver in my car.

Seems to work well at first. But occassioanlly when the apps change screen, the pioneer screen will turn to all static. Hard to explain exactly what it looks like -- like an old school TV that is scrambled. Sometimes it recovers, but sometimes it gets stuck like that.

V10 and Pioneer are both fully updated. Anything else I could try? Thanks!

Yep, that does indeed solve the problem. But I was hoping for a permanent fix.

Slimport is worse on the Nexus 7 using the same connector. There's always some weirdness with that thing... Mine has a charging port that never works the first time. I have to unplug and plug back in about 3 times before it works.
