SlimPort test in N5

Today i received the hdmi slimport adapter from eBay but i tried on my two sony lcd tv,s but it shows no signal...

What slimport and HDMI combo are you using?

I took a risk and bought some generic adapter from Cable Matters. Ratings were average with quite a few one star ratings at Amazon but it worked on my TV with my Nexus 5 and 7.
