Slow internet?

Coming from the Tbolt, I just got the Maxx yesterday and I'm very disappointed in the internet speed. I'm always on 3g or wi-fi and the Bolt was much faster loading webpages. Is this a known issue or just me?

I hate to say it's you, but unless you can actually test them both side by side and say the TB is faster at that exact time then it is you... you say 3G is slower, well it could be slow at that time... and the same goes for the Wifi, since it would be your equipment or your provider's equipment, or any number of things including the website you are accessing.

There is nothing wrong with my Razr Maxx.

I'm not quite sure what it is at this point. Gonna keep it a few more days, restarting seems to have improved the page load time, however still having trouble with sites "locking" and not allowing scrolling. Tried native and dolphin browsers. Who knows, could just be a fluke that works itself out.

I came from the mytouch 4G from T-Mobile. My Maxx loads pages slower on 3G then the mytouch...which shocked me at first. I haven't gotten a chance to see 4G speeds yet but I thought Verizon's 3G was faster then T-Mobile fake 4G. It doesn't bother me much anymore because I would rather have coverage (Verizon) then dropped slightly faster coverage (T-Mobile). I have noticed that with use my loading is getting faster, Maybe it just needs to warm up.

If you've been using your browser a lot, then you might think about clearing the cache in the browser... start your browser > Menu > Settings > Clear all, which will clear history, cache, cookies, form data and passwords

So far I have found that wifi (tested on 2 completely different connections) is much slower than 3g. I ran speed tests this am on the bolt and the maxx side by side and the only place that the maxx beat the bolt was 3g upload speed and it wasn't by very much. YMMV. I'm going back to my Bolt. Love the battery life, but overall the phone isn't so much better than the Bolt that I can justify spending $250 for it. It is a great phone though.
