Slow motion timing issue.

So I have this issue when I record on manual the resulting video is actually the time period BEFORE I press the record button. It seems to be always recording but only saving when you press play. I uploaded a video that I will link. It is of me opening a beer. I have slow motion on manual, I press record and immediately open the can. The resulting video is super slow until I actually open the beer. I was able to reproduce this many times.

Yeah super slow motion is nice but the manual mode is horrible, you always capture the part you don't want. Even trying to edit after you don't have the part for which you need the slow motion to apply.
The auto mode is better detecting motion but that also but ideal in my opinion.
