slow phone

I've had my f2f galaxy s3 for 6 weeks.
Lately when I go into my phone logs & hit a number it takes 8-10 seconds before it comes up
Can anyone help me

it sounds like you might have a rogue app on your phone. i would uninstall all apps that you've put on since the phone started lagging and reinstall one by one slowly to try to pinpoint the culprit.

Something else worth trying is clearing cache for both the phone and contacts apps.

Go to Settings / Application manager, scroll right to the All tab, then scroll down until you find Contacts. Tap that row, then tap "Clear cache", then force stop. Repeat for the Phone app.

Then go back and start the phone app and see if it's improved.

You're saying that, in the Phone app, when you select the 'Recent' tab it takes 8 seconds to show any information? Or once you select an item in the 'Recent' tab list, that it takes 8 seconds for that contact information to open?

As a ballpark, about how many contacts do you have on your phone?
