Slow SD read speeds.

I downloaded SD Card Speed test from the market and I am having some issues with read speeds on my EVO. With the stock 8gb card I get 3mb write / 1mb read. I tried formatting the card and rebooting the phone and I always get the same results. My wife's EVO is exactly the same.

I purchased a 16gb Transcend class 6 card, I get 8mb write / 5mb read. That seems better but everyone else I have seen post results have shown much higher read rates.

Any thoughts?

The stock card is a class 2 I believe, so nothing you can do about that.

Where are these higher speeds that you are referring to for your Transcend?

The speeds seem slow for the class 2 stock card (The read speed) and for the class 6 card (The Transcend). Others with class 6 cards show much higher read speeds. Everyone posting results that I have seen have shown read speeds higher than write.
