Slow Speeds and Grainy Image

Recently I've noticed that my Moto E has gotten a bit slower when attempting to multitask between 2-3 apps, and the image occasionally gets oddly grainy looking. This may just be due to my recent-ish main phone upgrade making this device seem lower end than before, or maybe i need a factory reset. Any ideas as to what could be causing this if it really is happening, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance
