Got my phone early this morning, but I'm disappointed with it. The phone is very slow loading pages, very laggy switching from portrait to landscape and it froze on me too. Anyone else experience this? I think I?m going to take it back.

It's one of the fastest phones I've ever used coming from the classic iPhone and iPhone 3G. Yours must be defective or you just really had too high of an expectation.

From so many videos, it seems very fast. I did hear that the accelerometer was a little slow but that is not a big deal.

Root can change the accelerometer response. I would imagine this is like unto the Pre that came in with a very slow response and then was tweaked later to increase the responsiveness for games etc.

Maybe it's something with my phone, but its nothing like i'v seen in the videos.

I've had mine for a week- the only time it is slow and laggy is when downloading and installing apps.

You're right. It wouldn't make any sense that the actual accelerometer is slow but rather the device's interpretation of it. It's either a serious software glitch or a setting that has to be tweaked.

I would go with cheebahawk1 advice mine is flying as well. So much faster than the stock Nexus one.

Dude take the phone back. My phone is lightning fast and I haven't had ONE issue. I downloaded about 50 apps (Most of them that I used on my Hero) and it didn't flinch. I did about 5-10 at a time downloading, installing, etc.. and it didnt even slow down.

I guess my question is slow over what? Are you on 3g/4g wifi? Can I be that maybe you are somewhere with a bad connection or service?

I had some issues indoors on 3G (1 bar) I turned on the wifi, no more problems.
I've been downloading apps, checking mail, with no problems
