Anyone with the international SM-N910G snapdragon variant of the Note 4, do u know of any good ROM's? i know there's really good one's for the SM-N910F and 910T and other's. But i cant find a stable custom ROM for G. any help much appreciated...thx

Re: SM-N910G out there, let's talk ROMs

i wouldnt get all to happy about custom roms for our devices... i dont know if its becouse its a relatively new phone. but there are not many roms out there (yet?)
and as for Cyanogenmod roms, those will kill all the cool features of the note 4..

Re: SM-N910G out there, let's talk ROMs

really? dang... i hear so much about CyanogenMod, and how cool it is, i so want it, but i guess ur right. We will lose alot of the Note's special features, so not worth it unless we have a Nexus or something. I have heard of X-Note ROM and other's. Would like to try one out, something different.

Re: SM-N910G out there, let's talk ROMs

...*sigh*... sad i cant flash something unique n cool. on XDA, i read about the ROM's for other Note 4 models. I keep hearing how everyone's thanking the developer and ppl giving some $$ for how happy the ROM's made em feel. Wow this and OOHhh that. Makes us N-910G feel left out in the cold hehe

Don't get me wrong I loved cm roms on my previous phones. But all the cool stuff the note gives us you will lose.. I don't like touch wiz personally but it works. I own a n910f and I'm thinking about trying x note but I still read comments that there are bugs. And if there was one thing I hated with custom roms is that stuff does not work when you need it. I really am on the edge on rooting this beast but something tells me that I shouldn't

CM12.1 nightly is out for note 4 sm-n910g. Its stable & ppl say it's near bug free. Just camera bugs once in a while. Flash it guys, im gonna do it this weekend. Will post results. ...

Its even kept the cool features of stock rom. S-pen etc. Or we can get lollipop 5.0.1 from Sammobile . Tho i hear that still got heaps of bugs.

Re: SM-N910G out there, let's talk ROMs

Using N910G in Singapore & converted into N5 N920G by flashing DrKetan L12 ROM. This ROM gives you all N5 features & you still can change battery & having microSD 128G support. This ROM is stable & good battery life! Thks for Dr. Ketan. But change to DrKetan ROM needs a lot of study & MUST have correct BootLoader & Kernel. I firstly downloaded the N910G Australia Stock Firmware & using Odin3.09 to flash it making my phone become an Australia N910G with latest BL, Modem & Kernel. Then Odin3.09 flashed CWMR. From CWMR, install the DrKetan ROM. You need to study well before your attempt. Good Luck!

Hi. I'm new to the android zone and just converted from an iphone to an Singaporean note 4,n910g, so looking at this, I was able to feel the same feelings as you did. I have also heard about the Dr ketan ROM . however, as i have said, I'm new to android and would not like to flash a bootloader and modem which can essentially kill my phone if I screw up. I am now running sokp ROM which was meant for trltexx, the n910f variant. Installation is fairly simple compared to others I have read. Just wipe data, systems, cache and dalvik and flash the provided ROM, wipe data and dalvik, and gapps 5.1 and wipe data and dalvik , which is provided by highonandroid(for gapps 5.1). It is super smooth compared to the touchwiz stock ROM my phone came with--it is a aosp ROM if I did not mentioned--, and I wasn't able to find any big bugs in this ROM except for the buggy sonic launcher which is fixed by installing a custom launcher from the playstore. One note is that the pop-up you normally get when detaching the stylus is gone. But it is a worthy trade off, for me that is.
The stylus still works as it supposed to be, so its fine. Hope you'll try it out. But give the time like 10 months give or takr , you have probably tried and found a nice ROM for your phone. Have fun.
PS its my first time posting a reply on and technology or android forum so forgive me if I'm abit wordy. Really hope this helps anyone searching for a ROM for note 4.
Links: sokp ROM : google and go to XDA site
Gapps : use highonandroid or manually search for a newer and suitable for your use gapps 5.1 on XDA or just google.
(Can't post links yet. Sorry)

Hi,

"HighOnAndroid" is run by Max Lee being a very good website talking about all Android matters. So far I converted my Note 4 N910G to become N920G with no regret. This DrKeten N5 L12 ROM is stable only giving issues minimum. I also chose to run Nova Launcher giving me to access every item within 1 main desktop. It is good try to use DrKetan ROM.

So far several months already, I converted my N910G to become N920G running DrKetan N5 L12 ROM with no regret. DrKetan ROM is stable running full N5 features giving very minimum issues if any. I also chose to run Nova Launcher giving all major accesses within one main desktop. It is wealth to try DrKetan N5 L12 ROM as I just ran AnTuTu benchmark hitting 67798!

Now my Note 4 N910G is running DrKetan S7/N5 ROM M6 so far so good got both S7 & N5 features all together!
