SM-T280 / 5ghz WiFi

My SM-T280 2016 A 7 inch does not see 5ghz WiFi. Is it a device issue or this model is not 5 Ghz enabled?

No problem with the 5ghz on my tab A 8!☺ Also; the 2.4 has a better range for wifi!

Yes, the Tab A 8.0 does support 5 GHz, but not the Tab A 7.0. Probably a cost issue.
