Small semi-transparent circle icon with what looks like a remote control inside of it

After downloading App Updates I now have a small semi Transparent icon about three quarters up from the bottom the right hand side that has what looks like a remote control inside of it. If I touch it locks up the phone. How do I get rid of it?

Hi, welcome to the forums! It's a known issue affecting many users and the culprit is an app called Peel Smart Remote. Search for it in your app manager and disable it. Tell us how it goes.
