Smart Actions app

I've been using a Droid Bionic and I like the Motorola Smart Actions app that comes on the Bionic, RAZR, etc. The app basically automatically lets me set times and/or places where my phone goes to vibrate or silent or wifi, etc. I'm going to lose this app moving from a Motorola phone to the GS4. Is there a good app in the Play Store that does something similar to this?

I have the EXACT SAME question... Just got the GS4... absolutely love it.. but i'm trying to find something comparable cause not having smart actions is no fun

I just downloaded AUTOMATEIT free version app several days ago. You can set the "rules", comprised of "trigger" and "action", to automatically do the 'smart action' for you. Another popular app is "Tasker".

You can use Tasker, too... And there was an app from Microsoft that allowed you to set up this kind of rules... I'm not sure, but I believe you can get some of those features via Google Now as well...

Tasker is awesome and extremely powerful. It also costs money. ProfileFlow and Llama are free alternatives.

Just switched from an Atrix II to a HTC One X today and already miss the smart actions. I downloaded automateIt, but really need something to do the one thing I used smart actions for the most since I use my phone at work.

I was able to detect calendar events marked as busy as a trigger. The actions it set were:
Phone Changed to Vibrate Automatically
Any calls or texts received were sent an automated text saying I was in a meeting.
Once meeting was over, the rules and actions turned off automatically.

I also used it to determine battery state and then set brightness, syncing, data, etc.

Need something free as it is a work phone but automateIt requires a lot of rules and the free version does not allow multiple triggers. LLama is location based and most other free versions do not allow a calendar trigger.

Yes, I was dissapointed with not having Smart Action on Samsung that I used to have on my RAZR. So I am trying AUTOMATEIT and so far it looks ok....
