Smart Lock Trusted Places - phone keeps locking

Setup smart lock:
-on body detection WORKS (phone stays unlocked)
-trusted devices WORKS (phone stays unlocked)
-trusted places FAIL (phone keeps locking after some amount of idle time)

Under places, have my home address (google maps) and co-ordinance (gps surrounding area).

How do I keep the phone unlocked forever based on trusted places?

Short answer is you can't. it's built in by default for security reasons. After the timeout, unless you exit the trusted place and re-enter (or reset the Smart Lock setting, like removing and re-adding a trusted place), the phone remains locked and asking for the correct credentials.

It's even worse now that my v50 updated to Android 10. Now trusted DEVICES no longer works as well! Have deleted all the devices and re-added them, but the phone still locks if I disconnect/reconnect the device. This SUCKS
