Smart lock - trusted places

Ok. So just to prove how far off Google's location database is and why trusted places is not reliable.

I walked to the nearest 7-Eleven to get my daughter a new bus pass. Google Maps said it was 0.4 miles away. When I got to the location that Google Maps said was a 7-Eleven there was not one there.

I then brought up Waze. Waze had the correct location of the store. It was about 350 yards away from where Google Maps said it was.

The odd part is that Waze is owned by Google. You would think they would be using the same location data.

would you mind sharing how you setup BR to accomplish this please? the actual routine steps? thank you.

Opened Bixby Routines, clicked thr plus sign in the upper right to create a new routine (or you can start from one of their suggested routines). For the If prompt, click to add, select place, and set by GPS ideally (I say that because Google insists I'm at my neighbors). You can adjust the radius there, and make sure to notice at the bottom the choices, select when I arrive, then done. It takes you back to the If screen, you could add additional requirements if desired. Then click next, hit the plus to add, and select unlock phone in the list under lock screen. Then hit done and it'll save your routine. You can edit, toggle on/off manually if something gets odd, delete, change the notification, etc.

thank you. I read, I tried, I failed (it did) once again. for some reason, google doesn't think I'm here or at my neighbor's who is right next to me. since the radius is so small I don't see how I can tweak it on the map, but I am nothing if not persistent. this gps will not win, I will. or at least I'll keep trying to win.
