Smart Network Switch

Now I don't know if this is just a quirk of the phone or if it's a result of updating to Android Pie/Samsung One UI, but on my old S8 the smart network switch (where the phone will get data using phone signal as soon as WIFI gets a bit dodgy) worked perfectly. On my Note9, however, it hangs on to the WIFI way beyond the point where it's useless.

Has anyone else noticed this?
