Smart Replies in Android Messages?

Strange - now the setting shows up for me too, but the Messages app version hasn't changed. Only thing notable that was updated was the Phone app.

Hmm, that is a little strange. I admit that it can be a very useful feature - it's just that my responses are usually more verbose than a word or two - and almost always have smileys/emoticons.

Showed up this morning while texting.. worked fine (offered 3 different emojis to use)..
must have been with the last update

I didn't have this.. Then yesterday it turned up out of nowhere ... I like it for quick responses ..

It seems to crop up out of nowhere! I don't always use it but sometimes I will!

Any way to change the Smart Replies? For instance, instead of it offering "Okay" I would like to change that to "OK".

I don't use them but back when I looked into it I'm pretty sure I saw that you could create your own.
