Smart Switch Not Working iOS8 to Galaxy S5

So I finally made the move to today and dropped my iPhone for a Galaxy S5. I love the phone, but when I run Smart Switch on my MacBook it just hangs up and the "spinning wheel" spins forever. I really need to get my contacts moved over and the mobile version of Smart Switch can't move contacts from iCloud.

Any help on getting my contacts moved to my new Galaxy S5 would be greatly appreciated!!

I couldn't get smart switch to work at first either. So I exported my contacts via a vCard.
Make sure your contacts are synced to iCloud.
Sign in to iCloud on a computer.
Go to contacts, highlight all of them.
Click the gear at the bottom left.
Export vCard.
Save to you computer then email it to your gmail.
Open the email and click the file.
All you contacts will be in your gmail and automatically synced to your phone.

Btw I did get smart swich to finally work. I had to disable wifi then turn off all of my antivirus and firewalls. Then it worked just fine. Oh and the spinning wheel does take awhile.
