Smart Switch won't transfer messages with attachments?

Hi, I'm using Smart Switch to transfer data from a Note 4 to a S9+. Everything transferred using wifi but some of the messages with images attached won't transfer. The message is there but there is a blank space where the image was. What's more strange is the it worked perfectly on some of the messages with attachments but not others. Does anyone have a suggestion for getting this corrected? Thanks

What's strange is that the attachments are there for half of the messages. Also, I used smart switch for my note 4 to S10+ and all of the attachments were there on the new phone.

I'm not sure , I know back ups saved text's but not picture.

Finally worked but not sure why. Reset new phone and restarted the transfer process. I did this 5 times and the last time the new phone finally received the messages with attachments.

That's good not sure how , mine never had attachment back up .
