Smart Switch won'y let me back up my s6.. any help?

The time on my lock screen shos a 9 whenever a 0 is meant to be. eg 9.30 = 9.39 etc. So I read a little on here and tried some basic stuff like wipe cache. I then decided I would back upmy phone and perform a factory reset or initialisiation.. (are these pretty much the same thing.. I'm not sure). I went into smart switch to back up my s6 and it only seems to back up my music, images and documrents everything else has either an x or no by it? Even if I do hit restore smart switch tells me there is no back up from the device even though seconds ago I just did one. I'm guessing this means there is a problem. I have only had my phone a few weeks but I would still like to keep what I've done from the phone. Is there anyway I can or will it have to be a factory reset/initialisation and I lose everything? Oh yeh one more thing when I wiped the cache partition before it got to the select screen the android guy fell over and it showed me an exclamation marj in a yellow triangle. I'm guessing this isn't good either.

it was a windows 10 issue.. if you have this problem change the folder destination
