I'm trying to transfer files from my phones memory onto my external memory card but it's saying I've got insufficient storage but I definitely have the room as it's a 128gb card please help on how I can fix this

Run SD Insight to make sure the card isn't counterfeit.

Clear your app cache and see if that clears up enough working space for you to transfer the files.
