Smart view stopped working any ideas on how to fix

I have a samsung smart TV from 2016 that has always allowed smart view on my phones and tablet.
For some reason it just shows play TV sound. The weirdest part about all this is that it's always worked in the past. About 1 week ago it's stopped working. The last thing I want to do is reset my TV to factory settings.

Have you tried 'forgetting' the phone in your TV so that the next time you try to cast to it the TV asks for permission to connect again? Is this phone the only one that gives you issues with mirroring? Can you mirror the phone to a different TV?

This may be related to the changes they've recently made with the SmartThings platform.

Reboot your router and for the TV, hold the power button on a remote for a few seconds when TV is on. It will soft reboot and reconnect again. Maybe it'll help. I do too have this issue sometimes with my Sammy and this usually helps. Do you have any other SmartThings connected devices in your network?
