I think smart watches are the next google glass. There is no market for them unless they can replace your phone. If you need both, what is its sense?
Some people are going to buy it, but only as a fashion.

I won a Pebble smartwatch right now. Costs $100 at the stores. Aside from the awesome battery life ( I get about 8.5 days) it has been useful to me at least. Especially the last update which allowed you to set quick messages to reply straight from the watch. Comes in handy at work where I can quickly glance at who/what is messaging me. I am planning on getting the pebble time as well.

Yeah, my Pebble may not be as snazzy as a Gear S but it has great battery life and is truly useful. The price? Wonderful.
