Allow me to shine some sunlight here. There are so many great phones available it really makes it difficult to choose! From the 6p to the V10, G4, S6, Note, Edge Plus, iPhones, etc. It's certainly the Golden Age of Smartphones. I love competition. That's it.

I am inclined to agree. There are lots of good choices out there. Even going into devices that are less expensive, like the Moto X, Nexus 5X, and even down to the Zenfone 2.

Yeah now there are way too many options. But its way easier to pick the right phone for you.
Want the best battery life? Your only options are Moto Turbo and Xperia Z series.
Want best camera? Your only options are Galaxy and iPhones.
Want timely updates? Your only option is Nexus.
So you see its quite easy to pick a phone these days.
However unfortunately for me there are exactly zero phones available between 4-4.3 inch screen size. So Android does not afterall have as many options as you think. Its mostly top heavy with nothing but a black hole at the bottom.
