Smashed Note9, just picked this up. Does it have a screen protector?

My beloved Note9 is no more, so I just upgraded to the Note10+. I bought it from Best Buy and there is a plastic cover on the screen. Problem is it doesn't fit very well so there is an edge that is harsh to the tough.

Is this just a shipping thing or is it a protector? Seems to be on there pretty good so I'm stumped.

The Note 10+ comes from Samsung with a factory installed screen protector.

The little box with the manual should have a little note in it stating there is a screen protector applied. Mine had one.

Yes screen protector. If it is bothering you, you can just peel it off. Had mine off for over a month now. ZERO scratches on the screen so far. I normally never put any screen protectors on my phones.

I put a case on (forgot to buy one when I bought the phone) and now the edges of the protector aren't an issue.

The screen protector will catch scratches easily. After 2 months, they drive me nuts to peeled it off . Like the feel of naked glass under my finger tips.

I'm going to leave it, but I know it will get fouled at some point. I will just remove it then and go without. I've never had an issue with screen scratches.

I got my note at launch and my screen protector is still going strong plus dropped my note several times with no damage.
