I like my 7 Plus a lot too, but this S8+ just has too much going for it. I bounced back and forth a little the first week as I was going through iMessage withdraw, but I think I have worked all that out now. I even picked up a Gear S3 Frontier to go with the S8+. I wanted to compare this combo to the 7 Plus/Apple Watch combo that I really liked. The Frontier is so much better looking. Still getting it set up though.

I got rid of the g6. The screen just wasn't it for me.

I'm still working with it. I've had a S2 Classic in the past and it was my favorite smartwatch. The S3 is bigger and for the most part that's a good thing. The screen is awesome. I charged to 100% last night. Slept with it on to track sleep and woke with 95% battery. I charged to back to 100% while getting ready and 10 hours later, I'm at 85%. I've been messing with it all day too so I feel really good about battery life once I use it under normal conditions.

The only issue I've had was using voice to text for messages. It wouldn't hear my voice this morning. I have not had time to see what the issue was though. I liked using that on my Apple Watch so I'm hoping I can get that working.

S8 Plus is truly amazing. Complete package. I love love Samsung Pay. Ranking up these points like crazy. Really happy to move away from S7 Edge.

I've finally mothballed my iPhone 7 Plus....it'll sit in my closet until I figure out what to do with it...sell or just keep for spare. I'm S8+ Hooked for sure!

I had an apple watch. Sold it off 2 months after purchase. Battery life annoyed me. It was the first apple watch if it matters. Bought the s3 frontier 2 weeks ago. Love it. Changed the bang and it's comfortable. Battery life is amazing. As stated above when I sleep in it I wake up with it at 95%. I charge it every night even though I don't need to. Lowest it's ever gotten is 74%. I work in the construction field and have smacked this thing against a couple different metal tools and objects accidently and the screen or the body don't even have a scratch. Pretty impressed.

Definitely check it out. You might be surprised. I didn't think I would be a fan of a big watch but I like it so much more than my Apple Watch. The screen is easy to read, comfortable to wear and looks great, in my opinion.
