How can I make the "Allo" app my default instead of "Messaging" which is already installed.

In the phone's Settings > General
section, there should be an option to pick your default SMS app.

If not:
Which phone?
Which version of android?
Which carrier?

I don't have a "General" section in my phone's Settings. The phone is a ZTE N817... with Android version 4.4.4 ...Sprint.

Allo doesn't support SMS messaging at the moment, so it cannot be set as a default for SMS.
