SMS backup before factory reset

What is the best/easiest way to back up my messages prior to doing a factory reset? Thanks in advance.

I've used Titanium Backup with great success.

Depends on your Carrier. Verizon backs all texts from forever, and their Message + will back up from past 90 days (choose one or the other, or face duplication). Search Playstore for SMS with MMS backup. I think Super Backup does both. Good luck.

That's the best but phone must be rooted

When I got my G3 I used SMS Backup & Restore by Ritesh Sahu to migrate from the old phone. Back then it was the best.
