SMS Delivery Reports

Has anyone gotten this to work using Google Messages? S21 Ultra UL on Verizon. Not using RCS. Stock app and Textra delivery reports work fine. Have cleared cache, data, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared network settings...any thoughts?

Probably stupid suggestion, but make sure the setting is turned on in advanced lol. It's working fine for me. Rcs chat features not so much

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's turned on. As far as RCS is concerned, I have no use for it inasmuch as nearly all of my contacts are on iOS.

For Google message app I havnt seen the ability to send message reports , the stock Samsung app has that .

It has the get sms delivery report setting. But the app has been a little off lately. I think google and tmobile are still tweaking rcs. Sometimes It works and sometimes it's disabled completely on its own lol

I too was going to say that the Samsung Messages app has that feature. I turned it on to see what it was like, and it was pretty instantaneous.

Yes, the Samsung approach to delivery reports is to send a notification, as opposed to a simple or "Delivered," as the Google app used to do.

I've been using Google since it started RCS , ad the stock Samsung on unlocked version didn't have it

Edit: Sorry after I finish quoting you the last part wasn't correct, meant to say I had google messages app since they started using rcs before that was on samsung messages and didn't have on the unlocked version rcs so started using googles because it did.
