SMS message on lockscreen disappears too quickly-note 8

Hi everyone.
When I receive an SMS message it pops on my lock screen (I can see the content of the message).
But after 2 seconds the screen returns to lock screen.
How can i make the message to appear for a few seconds more ?

I don't think you can adjust it with the stock messaging app. You can use a 3rd party messaging app like Textra though, and get that kind of customization. Textra offers a pop up over the lockscreen and you can adjust the amount of time it stays open. Hope this helps.
