I have been using my G4 for about a month, and coming from a 2013 Moto X, I have really been enjoying it. I have the same issues some other have been experiencing, which is fine, I expect things to be less than perfect on mobile devices.
I have a new problem though, one which no one has touched on and its really starting to upset me.
So, here is the issue. Three times in the past week, my phone has decided to just stop sending or receiving texts. It just clocks over and over and over and eventually says, "Message Not Sent" try again. During this period of time, I am also not able to receive any texts. I tried rebooting the device, toggling airplane mode, and even using different messenger apps. Nothing. Another annoying thing about this is that the battery starts draining rapidly. I can only assume this is happening because there is some function that is searching for the SMS to work and getting nowhere.
Today it happened again, and eventually drained my entire battery and when I replaced my battery with my spare, like magic everything was back to normal.
My question is, has anyone heard of this, or have any possible solutions. I think when it happens again I will execute a battery pull and see if that makes a difference.
