Sms ringtone delays after vibrate??

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this issue, but it is rather annoying. Basically a txt comes in and it vibrates but the ringtone is delayed maybe 2-3 seconds after that vibrate. Is this normal?

Yeah mine does that as well. I think its normal.

I think the issue is caused by the ability to set a different notification sound for text than what is set as the system notification. Vibrate is vibrate system wide, but when you get a text the system had to check which sound to play, and then get it before it can play it. I don't think there is any way to fix it, it's just an issue we have to live with.
