SMS Text Reader App

I am looking for a text reader app that will read incoming texts while driving and allow me to replay it without stopping. Background: I drive a Jeep wrangler, very basic model with a manual transmission and started using a standalone bluetooth speaker to receive calls while driving. I have used Drivesaf.ly in the past but you cannot replay the text unless you pull over and open the message and read it.

Ideally I would just like to just slow down and replay it once I reduce the noise inside the vehicle. Its a soft top wrangler with 1/2 doors and if you have ever been in one on the interstate at 65 mph you can hardly speak to a passenger or hear the radio unless the volume is very high.

Android Auto https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.projection.gearhead is supposed to allow you to do that; I haven't tried it myself.

I use Android Auto in my wife's SUV, your vehicle has to support Android Auto to pair up. Like I said I drive a very basic Jeep Wrangler that barely has FM radio. LOL Wait, I do have a Sirius adapter installed.

As an FYI, if you can pair up to Android Auto you can display Google Maps and/or Waze on the screen in the vehicle. We use it all the time when we use her SUV which is 99.99999 % of the time if we need to go somewhere together. She absolutely HATES my Wrangler.
