sms texts vanished

[Android Central Question]

I bought a sony xperia L4 a year ago. I changed sms apps to simple mobile tools app after three months. Now texts that arrived in the original app are not visible in the new app and vice versa. Is this normal?

Also some texts are gone completely , they are part of a thread of texts with one person and the rest of his texts are still there and can be seen in the different aps depending on the date i received them . Can the vanished ones be recovered? I did not delete them

Try force stop each app and see if it comes back

stopped both apps. didn't help

cannot register. not ging to waste time playing with this reg system

If it didn't help then we would have to.go over more things and that would require you to register, if you don't want to register for free and get free help thats fine also but this where it ends . Hope you find your solution, good luck.

I merged your threads. That one's on the house. But if you don't want to register and would rather clutter up the forums by starting new threads for every followup to this thread, then I'll just delete them. I certainly won't consider that a waste of my time.
