sms threading wont work with any of the apps

I have a friend who has a Fascinate from Verizon. The issue that seems to be the problem is I can't get any of the apps like "Gosms", "Smspopup" or the "Vcast messages" to not let her send the txt in one big long txt, I beleive the term is threading. It keeps breaking them up and it wont let me send her extended txt w/ my apps with out getting a stupid extra txt saying the phone I sent it to won't accept it, it has been modified etc stuff. Is anybody else having this problem? She is the only person this does this to me with. So I know it isn't my phone(have a droid x w/ Verizon) Its just very frustrating. Any info is appreciated here.
