Snapdragon 800 Vs Apple A7

Everyone cheats. All that matters is that you love your phone and when you pick it up and use it, it does what you need it to do and you're satisfied.

Motorola Google and Apple don't cheat. I only buy phones from them.

Well considering the Note 3 uses an S800 and the 5s uses an A7, it can easily be construded as a Note 3 vs 5S thread....

You have misconstrued the thread as many have. Computer testers have found many ways to compare the hardware and the software and the construction of all different types of computers. Smartphone testers need to do the same. Not quite sure why the benchmark programmers have not created an app to test raw CPU/GPU/Ram performance independent of the OS yet.

Oh my god, I hope that was correctly detected sarcasm.

I didn't misconstrue anything. I just stated a fact how it can be construed the way it has been.

And no, he's being dead serious. Weirdly. But serious.

Love Moto phones. My Moto X is downright awesome! Some of the best radios in the business!

I do like the sound of the Moto X... I am just so comfortable with the screen size of my Note 3 :P.

Does it really matter if one phone is a half of a second faster than another one?
If it doesn't fit your needs, then all of those benchmarks don't matter. Any top-tier phone ( Apple, Android, or Windows ) is going to be fast enough for most people.

No. It matters that the phone doesn't CONSTANTLY STUTTER AND JERK while performing basic operations like scrolling.

Android stutters and jerks all the time. iOS and Windows are smooth. It doesn't matter how fast it is to load.

In that case, why are you in the Android forum?

Because I'm an Android user? It doesn't mean I can't recognise an unresponsive substandard OS compared to other devices I use.

If you hate your phone, destroy it. You'll feel a lot better for about two seconds.

YOUR Android stutters and jerks all the time. My Maxx is the fastest and smoothest phone that I have ever owned, and I have had a 4, 4s, 5, 5s, and WP8. None have been any smoother. Obviously, it is your device that is substandard, not Android in general.

Ever used a nexus? No lag. One? No lag. Z1? No lag.

I agree with Pappy. My Note 3 doesn't stutter. Running Nova Launcher as my Launcher because I can agree Touchwiz can lag... And... Bam. No stutters as you call them Kurian.

You have to be really careful when speaking for everyone. Not sure if you meant to do that but that is how your post reads. I'm sorry Android hasn't performed as well for you as it has for so many of us. My devices run so fast, so sliq, as to be seemingly angelic in nature and they're not even the best spec'd devices.

Even if the device is hypothetically smooth, all Android devices have 150ms of input latency or worse. Sliding anything drags behind your finger by a visible distance and games are unplayable compared to iOS. You can tap a button and remove your finger from the screen before the button gets depressed.

Must be your device. Mine doesn't do anything you described above.

I tap away on my keyboard and can't even see it tapping because it goes away upon release. So.. Yep.. :).

Lies. It's been scientifically verified by several sites and YouTube videos. This includes 150ms of lag on the keyboard. This is present on every existing Android device without exceptions.

As has been stated, it must be your device, since I and a lot of other people don't have the issues that you are speaking of. As I earlier stated, my Maxx is smoother and faster than any iPhone or Windows phone that I have ever owned.

BTW, calling someone a liar on here is a good way to get banned.

Nope. All devices have 150ms+ input latency. Scientifically verified with a high speed camera and sensors. The lowest latency Android device to date is the Shield which is ~80ms but isn't really a phone. The rest all spike to 150-300ms under load i.e. scrolling.

This is what gives it the unresponsive feeling compared to iOS's 50ms. It doesn't matter how smooth it is.

This is a huge thread about the obviously existent issue and you pretend like it doens't exist.
