Snapseed? Why is Exif missing (sometimes) Galaxy s9, Snapseed edits

1) What am I doing that removes exif file? It seems to stay on the original but not subsequent copies.

Workflow: Gal.s9, edits in gallery photo editor, then Snapseed, save/export in Gallery or Google Photos; open in Android tablet to view larger, make any edits w/same programs; then, using Xfinity Comcast, I email image as attachment.

2) Person receiving says exif is missing. They say they need the color profile sRGB. They say I can't print without it, or participate in their competitions. Suggested I attach a color profile (I am clueless how to; I don't use Lightroom or Photoshop)
They aren't familiar with phone cameras and asked if Gal.s9 has no color profile ???

Even when Exif is there, I don't see details for sRGB profile. But then, for regular camera images I don't see that either, so I don't understand how it can be read at all.

Thanks for trying to help! It's my first smartphone ever. I'm loving it but the technical stuff throws me. I must be missing something, and maybe it is a very simple fix. Thanks!!

You probably need to verify where in your workflow the EXIF data is getting lost.

On my LG V30, the camera includes only small amounts of EXIF data (as compared to a DSLR), but the colorspace is marked as sRGB for JPG files.

With SnapSeed 2.19, the files saved and exported preserve all the EXIF data including the ColorSpace.

Which email program are you using? Some apps like to mess with the images to make them smaller for transporting.

Thank you for responding! I've been testing various things trying to see where in the workflow I might be messing things up. Nothing discovered there yet, and things seem to be doing ok. I know some emails mess things up. I use Xfinity Comcast for photos to the group. It's not great on a good day, but until now I haven't had a problem. Maybe something occurred during one of their updates?? I have gmail, so maybe I should start using it.

When I look at exif data I don't see anything related to color space on any photos. Do you think it could be the way I'm saving/exporting from Snapseed that might cause that piece of info to not show?

Thank you!
