SNES emulator

Have you guys tried "Upside Down" mode? So the D-Pad is in your left hand just like a nintendo remote?? It's freaking SWEET!

noobi ? do you need to root the phone for these to work? i have been trying to unzip them and it tells me that it failed ... i used androzip... i also downloaded psx4droid and i need a boi . can i do the same with this. open a file transfer the roms into this file then open it under the psx app? thank you for any help and i hold asking this wasnt wrong....

i have no problems wit the lite one? what does the full version due?

The full version will let you save your game which is very, very, handy when playing the more difficult games. It's totally worth it and not to mention it helps support the developers who in my opinion definitely deserve it.

I'll ask a dumb question. Once you download them SNES emulator, where do u get the games from?

Here's perhaps a dumber question: does the phone need to be rooted or otherwise altered to use these apps/games? I'm keen to use them, but don't want to alter my Captivate.

Using emulators does not need root. It doesn't alter the phone in any way, it's just an app.

As for using roms and BIOS-files, just download the files (Google is our friend) and create a folder for them with a file manager of your choice. Unzip the files to this folder and (for Gameboid and psx4droid) tell the emulator where the BIOS file is located. For all the others, just navigate to the folder with the unzipped ROM files and load them. Enjoy.

SNESoid Recommended Settings

Hello,

I run SNESoid often as well as NESoid on my Droid 1. Sometimes the SNES roms tend to cause some lag or they just don't run well on my device.

Mortal Kombat for instance is pretty bad, there's an extreme echo with music and sound effects, as if it's in slow motion.

Anyone have any recommended SNESoid optimization settings they would like to share? To have the smoothest SNES gaming experience possible?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

M

Im curious as to what games are out there that make this worth downloading and searching for ROM's.
I dont play many games from the market because they are not that entertaining if the emulators have loads of games I may try it out.
Usually when I look in the market they only advertise two games SONIC and MARIO??
