SNote temp files / restore?

So I was editing an S-Note yesterday and I must not have saved it / closed out of the file. I go back into S-Note today and all my updates are gone (unfortunately..not the end of the world but would be nice to have them).

I checked the up time and it looks like the phone must have rebooted (itself) after my edits at some point.

I'm hoping there's a temp file somewhere that I could restore from, however I don't see any (at least not in the snote folder).

Anyone ever have similar and found a way to restore from a temp / cache file? (and I can't believe there's not some type of auto save or other function like that which could allow this to happen. especially since I think snote's been around for a while).

Any suggestions welcomed...

When you first set up SNote, you should have had an option to sync with a Sammy account or Evernote... any chance you did that?

If not, the path is:
/storage/emulated/0/SnoteData/

Good luck

I did not. Didn't know one needed to do this. The last thing I need is ANOTHER account somewhere. So I'll check the path you gave (thanks) and try a sync to Dropbox where I'm trying to condense to get things organized into one existing storage location or to my SD card.

Deb from my Note 3

They are stored in: Internal memory/SnoteData/ and have the file extension .spd
I sync this folder to my computer every day for backup.

@TheMacs - thanks .. I did (and do) sync to evernote .. and did check the folder in the emulated directory .. but unfortunately, no luck .. the old version of my file was there, and was also synced to evernote. Problem is that I didn't hit the check-mark in the snote, and think I left the file open (for addt'l editing). However, the open file doesn't appear to be saved anywhere, or at least I can't find it anywhere. Perhaps was only saved in memory, or perhaps something else happened. Not sure.

@ojz0r - thanks .. I've looked for that folder but only see one in emulated (which I assume to be an emulated external card? not sure .. the droid folder structure has always confused me a bit and I've never spent the time to study it properly). I'll see if I can find the folder, but when I search for all .spd files, all I find are those in my emulated directory. not sure if any temp files would have been saved with a different extension .. I may be nearing the end of my search though and have learned the hard way not to leave an snote file open at all.

daves221 - sounds like you were on the right track. Unfortunately, I don't think we get an auto-save feature. (It'd be nice, maybe a future upgrade.) Hopefully you didn't lose too many changes.

fortunately I didn't lose anything I can't live without but was bummed.

but, from this have learned that there's no auto-saved file and that given the random reboots and other possibilities, hitting the save button periodically and then re-entering edit is needed in S-Note on the Note 3. Lesson learned and hopefully others see this (and I can't believe that an app that's been around doesn't have an auto save / restore!).
