You can change the dpi in developer settings by changing the smallest width here.

Or use a different launcher and configure icon sizes

Thanks....Another think I noticed, maybe there is an answer for as well. Before the led pulsed when I received and email with Gmail, now it does not...I have the setting on in the app but I don't see mail listed in the notification settings. Any ideas?

If you go to apps instead if notification settings you can select Gmail from that list and it will have its own notification settings, but the led pulse is a systemnwide setting in the notification settings menu.
