After reading the article that the s7 edge would might have a t 3600mah batt and sd card, it kind of gives me hope that will passed on to the note6, fixing two big issues w the note 5.

I do hope they stay away from 4k
Screen though,

Any thoughts?

Same. I'm against 4K displays. There isn't enough content, they will hog battery and processor and our eyes won't notice the difference anyway.

I also hope they they keep the keys like they are, w the fingerprint sensor on the home key. With my phone n the holder in the car a back sensor would harder to get too.

I had the motorola turbo 2 for a while and just didnt care as much for the on screen keys. I didn't dislike them, just like the way samsung does it now.

The marketing case for the whole Note series is becoming weaker and weaker with the advent of these superb 5'5" screen Edge phones. With the absence of the s-pen, what, really, is the attraction of a Note phone. When they started it was the appeal of the phablet-sized screen. Well that advantage has now vanished and it's getting harder and harder to distinguish the Note line from other top-of-the-line Samsung phones. Frankly, at this point, Samsung should kill off the Note line entirely.

I disagree. While the note being the only big phone when it was released, and also had the s pen, it is still relevant. The spen along with software is still a big plus.

The note line has had a growing following, esp in my area with medics and cops and people who find the note useful.

If they can keep the price from going up much and add say a 3600mah battery and sdcard slot, it will still be set apart from other phones. Where else can you get a name brand phone w built in spen and software to really use it.

Basically if the note line disappeared there would be no reason for me to stay w samsung, id go full time with a close to stock system like motorolas droids... whatever they are about to become.

Most 0f what was wrong with the gs6 got fixed with the note 5 and gs6 edge plus battery and ram . So the gs7 just needs to continue on that path . The hardware part they got down tweak the software mostly the connectivity issues with Bluetooth and make 64 gig standard
