So honest opinion with privacy screen OFF

The talks about the screen being trash due to the design for the privacy feature, is it really that bad for the ones who have the phone already? I mean, is it still a premium display compared to the S25 Ultra? I'm a little nervous for money unboxing and the screen is crap.

So far, using the S25U and S26U side-by-side, if anything, I have found the S26U to look a little sharper. And when there's bright light coming in from the window, the S26U brightens up more, and this compensation makes up for any "dimmer" views when comparing the displays at an angle (that you will never use on purpose, anyway.)

So, IMO, one thing's for sure, the S26U's display is not "crap."

As said above the screen looks great as usual, the only difference i found was the brightness (when set the same on the S25 Ultra) seemed slightly dimmer, but that's very slightly.

The screens is great. I see absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. Like every single phone release, these reviewers "reach" to find...what they believe an issue with a phone. When it comes to the Pixels and Samsung devices ..they trash them, every second they get...and people run with it.

After my first full day of using the S26 Ultra inside and outside, the screen seem better to me than the S24 Ultra. It's bright. It's crisp. Colors look amazing. I am really liking it. I haven't tried the privacy filter feature. I think I'll save that for the next time I'm on an airplane.

I love having the option to use, not use, or use for certain apps. Imo, u can't beat that.

I've seen no degradation in screen quality with it off. I'm happy.

I dont use the max privacy as I find it washes out the display and the standard privacy setting is adequate.

No problems with the screen. I have used screen privacy a few times. Like the fact I can use when needed and not have it on all the time.
