So how is the HTC U11 for y'all?

I have been wanting to choose between S8 and the U11. I want to buy U11 because i am getting the 6 GB variant for a price equal to $670 in the area i live. but i want to be sure that i am making the right choice. i dont mind the headphone jack, since HTC promises good audio from their uSonic headphones. so what do you guys suggest.

Personally I went with the u11. I love the look and how well it does everything I need it to do.

for me it's a great device. Super fast with no lag. Great battery life. Audio is the best I have ever had on a phone. It's LCD which I like and the best I have ever seen. I have seen the blue and own the red and they are both beautiful. Super fast camera that take great pictures. I could go on but you get the idea.

Going on my second week with the U11. General thoughts:

• Fast and responsive, only lag I've noticed is launching camera sometimes.
• Super fast/accurate finger print sensor.
• Camera quality is great. Only missed focus once.
• Squeeze has helped me launch camera plenty of times. It is actually useful. The phone is pretty large and slippery, so the squeeze helps you keep a hold of the phone when you need that shortcut
• Enjoying the lightweight software
• easily 5-6hrs SoT. Best battery of all my phones yet.

Overall, really happy with the phone. I'm a serial phone switcher and from phone to phone I generally feel that one area is way better, but other areas are lacking. With the U11, I honestly feel that it is an upgrade in all ways from my last phone.

Try it! Give HTC a chance (this is my first)

I've heard very good things about the headphones, audio, and music quality in general. Apparently the headphones are good at canceling noise too and they adapt to your individual hearing. Go for it! What colour are you thinking of?

The s8 is a great phone also. Personally I prefer the u11 because of the sound, snappy software, newer software, faster updates, and I love the camera.

Samsung is just boring. HTC is alive... Awesome phone. I've had both meaning the S7 and I really hated it. The U11 is vibrant, sexy and just a well built phone. Treat yourself. If after 30 days you don't like it get a refund and buy the S8..

Samsung is boring? Clearly not true. My S8 Plus is the best looking device I've ever owned. I think the U11 looks great as well but Samsung really stepped it up with the galaxy series this time.
