Yeah on Android Q betaThis is on the Android Q Beta? If so that's pretty neat that it will allow that option again in the future.
As for the latest deal, I may end up using the code to get my wife a Pixel. Mustang you seem to be very experienced with the phone, is battery drain really an issue with the regular size Pixel? Mine seems to drop rather quickly even when left idle. I'm thinking of reaching out to Google and getting a replacement (still under warranty).
I'd hate to have to repeat this process with my wife's possible Pixel phone...
Was that for if you signed a contract?Actually I was mistaken, the $300 off promotion also applies to the 3xl too.
Ya for some reason I think so. I love mine.Did this generation of Pixel phones sell worse than previous? Never seen such a huge discount on these phones even with the next October release in a few months.

Yep. At worse you could sell it and make some change. No just for the phone, but yeah if you want to use google financing it was an option. I also had a $100 store credit so I got the pixel 3 xl (again) but this time for $400 off. Too good a deal to pass up.
Nice, thanks. The first one sounds a lot like OP gesture navigation which I actually really like.Update : 3 option for gesturesView attachment 305299
Yeah, its a improvement lol.Nice, thanks. The first one sounds a lot like OP gesture navigation which I actually really like.
yeah that's whats holding me back, coming from a Pixel 2 I haven't really missed those things. My 6T camera is arguably better than my Pixel 2 was at times and more than good enough most of the time as I've been very happy with it.
AOD I don't need, I like the ambient display better. I find that when it flashes is when I need to look, with AOD I'm just looking all the time to see if something changed.
I'd really want the bigger screen but not the notch of the 3XL so the 3a XL would really be my first choice in a Pixel. That said I loved the size and pocketability of my Pixel 2 and the 3 is basically the same so I do miss that because my 6T is a little on the bulky side in my pocket.
I love the battery life of my 6T, best I've ever experienced in an android phone. My pixel 2 was not a battery champ and I've heard the same about the 3.
I also get a student discount, so $450 for the 3 is tempting just on price. But you are right, it doesn't make sense otherwise.
It varies depending on my usage but most of the time 6+ hours. My Pixel 2 I was lucky to get 3.5 on a good day. I'm hard on battery life because I do a lot of audio streaming at work during the day. 6 hours is fantastic, and I know with the 6T I can be out away from a charger and it's not going to drain significantly unless I am using it which never happened with my Pixel 2 nor any Samsung phone before it as those always had significant standby drain. What kind of SOT are you looking at with the OnePlus 6T?

Still struggling with this simply because it's a fantastic price and I kind of miss some things about the Google experience.
That said, I'm also struggling to see why I wouldn't just get the 3a XL for about the same money. I don't play any super intensive games and mostly text, call, watch video and play music and podcasts. That's about it.
