So I went out and got this but where is hangouts?

I can't seem to find Google hangouts anywhere. I looked on the watch and on the galaxy gear app store and can't find it. How do I get that to work on the watch?

There is no Hangouts app for the watch but you can get the notifications from Hangouts on the watch by checking hangouts in notifications in the Gear app on your phone. That's about it.

Probably not. I don't use hangouts so for text messages, I use the stock messaging app on the phone. When I get the text message on my watch, I can reply to it right on the watch but that only works if you use the stock messaging app. This will probably not work with replies in Hangouts either.

You'll have to try it yourself and see.

Good to hear it works. I just never tried Hangouts that way so I really had no idea.

Mine doesn't work consistently. Sometimes I get hangout notifications and sometimes I don't.
