So if I'm intersted in Android 5.0 who should I be looking to?

Samsung ain't going to pull through for me. They MIGHT get around to updating the Tab Pro 8.4 to Lollipop but probably long after it stops being new and exciting.

So that said what development scene would be the best to keep up with if I'm interested in running 5.0 on a Tab Pro 8.4 ASAP?

The Tab Pro's specs are still near top of the line, so I think it's still a good candidate. I believe this line will get the new version, but that would be it. After the next release, it'll be Tab S and newer.

It's not really so much "if" but "when". I don't think it's a priority for Samsung. Plus I'd rather have a more pared down Android implementation.

Admittedly I don't much care for the "Magazine UX" interface and the main Android interface Samsung provides (I guess it's called "TouchWiz") keeps crapping up on me and slowing down for no good reason.
