So is Official Gingerbread not happening for Vibrant?

I was wondering the same... I won't be surprised if we don't see it ever.

I've been looking at taking the plunge with a custom ROM like Project V (since that seems to be the newer version of trigger), but would really like one that gets you the same functionality of Gingerbread.

Why the hell do carriers (specifically TMobile) make it so difficult to run the latest version of the os on your phone.

And they better not try to peddle that the phone can't handle it because we all know that is horse crap...
