So much negativity! Let's be positive.

I'm actually really loving mine! The screen when compared at the highest brightness is actually brighter than the s8. The selfie camera is quite good after making changes. Even the Snapchat camera gave extreme detail of me, more than I need people to see lol the transition was easy from my s8 using smart switch. I'm just loving it!

So far this forum is full of people hating certain features, complaints about the phone, software or accessories, and just so much negativity about the phone. I'm tired of negativity in the world, the news is on at my work for my entire 8 hour shift every day and it gets to be a bit much. I want to head about your S9 and why you love it and ONLY good things about it. My first positive thing to say is that I'm super excited it is coming today and having held one in hand that it is a gorgeous device and rivals the beauty of any phone on the market.

It's fast. Feels maybe a little faster than my pixel 2 xl? Hard to say. I've been daily driving my pixel for awhile. This feels faster though by quite a bit.

I was honestly not anticipating liking this phone this much but it's really nice. I might trade my coral blue for a black one though.

As sleek and sexy as my S7 Edge was when new. I assume it will be as efficient and reliable as the S7. BUT, since 2/3rds of my use was the camera....why did I just spend well over $1,200.00 for an S9+ and accessories just to lose several powerful Samsung camera features. Mainly the ability to shoot 360° photos, Selective Focus and the unbelievably near perfect AutoFix edit function? Not very happy about this at all! Having anxiety issues just typing this on my SamDamsung 10" Tablet. Have 9 S7s in my little company - may become 9 Pixels.

It's still new phone affect and just received today. First impression is great and I also have the iPhone X and Pixel 2 XL so expectations are high .

As of now no complains, everything feels buttery smooth. Need to test out the camera over the next few days to see how it stacks against the camera king Pixel 2. Also, got to see how it holds up in terms of software performance in a month or two. But as of today no complains and loving it.

The reason why I would prefer the s9 over the s8 is because of the fingerprint scanner placement on the s9. That and the minor upgrades which provide a somewhat of a newer experience...

That was one reason I chose it too. The other was that it is ever so slightly shorter and a bit wider than the S8+. Asthetically I like the size of it. A bit on the heavy side, should be dangerous for drops...but with a case on it, it should fit nice in ones hand.
