So my S3 wont turn on

Dont know what happened but.. left it over night to charge

woke up next morning to turn my phone on and nothing! Tried holding the power on , home and volume button and nothing happens..

I'm sorry i cant provide much detail of my phone.. but as far as i know its a S3 4.0.4 I9300

what should i do before i take it to the shop as a last resort..?

Try a new battery. After that, there is nothing else you can do.
