4.2 debuts and we still have no ETA on 4.1. Yest Samsung manages to get updates to S3 out?

The international One X is getting Jelly Bean.
Welcome to the world of non-Nexus phones. If you want the latest software you should get a Nexus. The new one looks really nice.
It does look really nice and so does its $300 price tag.

4.1 or 4.2?![]()
Amazing bargain for what you get.
Really? It's a non-LTE phone...not really that great of a deal to me (now that I am spoiled with these speeds on my One X)...but to each their own.

Nexus 4 is $100-$150 cheaper off contract than the One X. I'd rather skip the LTE and save that money.

I guess the real question is what value do you place on speeds then. To me, the $150 is well worth the price considering the HSPA+ speeds in my area are no better than traditional 3G and I cannot see myself going back to them now that I've had my taste of the future. Speeds faster on my phone than my cable? Yes, please!

Well I get 8-12 down and 2-4 up, with latency 150-175 on HSPA+. LTE averages 12-15 down, 12-15 up, with latency 60-80. Latency is the biggest difference for me. I can do without LTE, but yes, it's very nice.
The value you place on that is up to you. You can buy a phone off contract for cheaper that is better in every way except the camera (the screen is a wash), and that doesn't have LTE. You're not locked in with a particular carrier, you save money if you're prepaid (which if you're off contract and don't want LTE maybe you should be), and you're guaranteed software updates. Remember, the OP was about software updates, so for the sake of this thread, that's the most important feature. In which case the Nexus automatically wins.
The international one x gives you more for your money imo, hspa+ speeds in Nc are pretty decent when i use 'em. The one x+ looks very promising;lte, and a tegra 3 processor.? Awsome. Say,if any difference, which would have a better gpu.? The snapdragon pro or nvidias tegra 3+.? The snapdragon pro has an adreno 320,or 360. Im not too sure. I wonder how would it stack up against the tegra 3+ chip.
